BPIS American Canadian Champion Spiritrun's Singular Sensation
Cassie
Cassie was a singleton puppy born to us out of Kali, Am Can Ch Spiritrun's Kahlua N'Ice, sired by Tobe. We knew we had something very special at merely four weeks of age. Her first show, ever, was the 2004 Alaskan Malamute Club of America National Specialty in Odgen Utah, where she beat over 90 bitches to go Reserve Winners Bitch at just 6 months and 3 days old! She went on to win a Best Puppy in Show and to then handily finish here Canadian Championship. She took time off for other things, motherhood, sledding and hanging out while she sporadically pursued her American Championship. When she finally came back out to finalize that deal, she did it very assuredly by winning WB/BOW under Michelle Billings at the GLAMC Specialty in Munroe MI in 2010. A Best of Opposite win and a Select Bitch win soon followed and we knew she still had it. She showed like a pro at Westminster i 2011 (see video below) and recently won a Working Group 2 at the Purina National Championship 2011, following in her father's footsteps. The next day, she one-upped herself and won the Working Group in very steep competition. This is one bitch, who at 6 years of age, is just starting to rev her engines. What more does she have in store for us, as she shows no signs of slowing down.
